The Vatican from the Dome of St Peters’

The Vatican from St Peters Dome 28mm Agfa Vista Plus 200 f16 250th sec

Another one from my trip to Rome a few weeks ago, this is taken from the top of the Dome in St Peters’ Basilica, I really like the symmetry of St Peters Square and how the street leads off into the distance down to the River Tiber. The contrast from the Agfa film as well I really like, making the shot look like it was shot sometime in the 1970’s. This took 500 odd steps to climb to take this shot, I’m pretty pleased that it looks like it was worth it.

Nikon FM 28mm, Agfa Vista Plus 200 ISO Film, f16 1/250th sec.
