Lamplight

Lamplight Ilford FP4 125An oldie here, taken on my Nikon FM with 28mm lens on Ilford FP4 125 ISO film, so old I have no idea what aperture or shutter speed I used.

This is a lamp-lit desk and a couple of glasses and bottles of water taken from a lodge me and my girlfriend stayed at in a Safari Park, sounds glamorous I know but it was more a big tent and it rained the whole time…..and was in Kent. Still I enjoyed myself.

I like how dark the whole shot is except for what the light touches, and how you can see how fragile that light is as the bottle furthest away is in almost complete darkness despite being relatively close to the source of the light. This is the kind of photography I really like, taking everyday objects that are nothing special and making you look at them in a different way.
