Back to the classic’s. This shot of St Ives harbour was taken on my Nikon FM with 28mm lens using Agfa Vista plus 200 film at f11 1/500th sec. I like an awful lot of thing’s about this shot, mostly because it just screams seaside from every corner. The footprints in the sand, the waves gently lapping at the shore in the distance, the kids playing in, the harbour wall, the steps leading up to the lighthouse, the rolling clouds and the land jutting out and off into the horizon. Doesn’t it make you wish Summer hadn’t ended so soon?
