A selection of shots of Cardiff Bay at sundown, all taken on my Nikon FM with 28mm lens on Agfa Vista Plus 200 film.
First up this shows some of the remaining moorings rising up out of the water, relics from when this was a working and industrial area rather than the leisure area it’s become. F16 1/60th sec.
A little underexposed here, boats moored up along a jetty, the sun shining down over the water to the far right of the photograph, I do like the colours in the sky though. F8 1/500th sec.
Same shot as above but using an neutral density filter and longer exposure time, giving the water a bit more of a glassy look and a much better exposure. F22 1/4sec with 0.9ND screw in filter.
This is my favourite one of this set, I took arguably a much better shot of this using my Nikon D5200 on digital but I still like this example. The colours, the reflections, the buildings. I’m pretty pleased with how this came out. F8 1/60th sec.
