Project 52: Week 9; Artistic – Shadows

This week is much more up my street (see what I did there?) in term’s of photography I’m comfortable with as this week the subject is “Artistic: Shadows”. Now whether or not you would call this artistic or not is up to you, I wouldn’t really myself, but light and shadow is a big part of my street photography so I’m pleased with this challenge.

So I went through some of the street shot’s I’ve taken this week and decided this one fit’s the bill quite nicely. The left side of the image bathed in sunshine, the right in shadow, an almost 50:50 split down the centre (ish) of the shot. The guy in light in a t shirt suggesting it’s a lot warmer in the sun than it is in the shade (this is Wales in February, it isn’t warm anywhere really), his clothe’s bright and light like the surrounding’s, the guy in shade wearing all black. Yeah I’m pretty pleased with how this one has gone, how about you guy’s? Let me know in the comment’s.
