The thirteenth entry in this series features a lot of people’s back’s and back’s of head’s, perhaps this is my photographic style and I haven’t realised or come to terms with it yet? Either way all these are take on my Olympus OM-1 with 50mm F.Zuiko lens on Fomapaan Classic 100 film, as usual feel free to comment.
F8, 1/250th Sec. Boy or girl? cold or depressed and alone? Who know’s? But I do like the look of isolation in this one.
F8, 1/250th Sec. Another bench, this time with an older couple, although they’re sitting far enough apart to suggest perhaps they’ve had an argument? I like the strong contrast here with the bright sunshine and dark shadows.
F8, 1/250th Sec. These guy’s were sailing radio controlled boat’s on the lake, and from the look of their faces having a great time as well. I like the sense of the positive emotions you can clearly see from the laughing and smiles in this.
F8, 1/125th Sec. Just can’t get enough of those back’s. I’m impressed with the level of detail showing on he runner’s top, I say impressed but mean more astounded I got the focus spot on as he pelted past me and off into the distance.I also like the clearly defined path disappearing out of focus as it zigzag’s through the park and away from us, clearly showing where this guy is running to.
F5.6, 1/125th Sec. An example of not getting focus right, however I think this work’s on this occasion to give a sense of movement and speed as the people run past us. Also this guy must be hard as nails, this photograph was taken in early February, it was not a warm day.
