Another entry for the 52 week project, this week it’s another of those stupid “artistic” theme’s, next time I do one of these I’m avoiding one with silly title’s like that. Anyway this week the theme is texture’s, an image that look’s how you know it would feel to touch, so earlier today I took this while I was shooting some street photography.
Olympus OM-D EM-5, Panasonic Leica Summilux DG 25mm 1;1.8, ISO 400, f4, 1/640th sec. (more…)
My sister’s boyfriend managed to get hold of this for me, I’m still not entirely sure it was a wise purchase on my hand but we’ll get on to that. Built like a tank, and not just due to it’s mechanic’s but the fact it literally weigh’s a ton, I mainly wanted to get my hand’s on this as I’ve never shot an East German camera before and have heard of how Praktica’s are generally OK if not great camera’s.
As some of you may know I visited Berlin about a month or so ago, I’ve already shown some of the image’s I took digitally while there but now I’ve had a couple of rolls of film developed from the trip as well. So over the next few week’s I’ll be sharing the image’s taken on Agfa Vista Plus 200 with my Olympus OM-1 and F.Zuiko 50mm lens.
Well for the first time in a while an image I have recently taken perfectly fit’s the bill for this week’s subject; Landscape – Urban/Cityscape. And although I’ve posted a couple of version’s of this shot already, I haven’t posted this one (despite how similar it look’s).
Nikon D5200, Sigma 10-20mm 4-5.6 EX DC, ND Grad 0.3 & ND 1000 filters, ISO 100, f8, 60 secs. (more…)
Minor update announcement! I have added a “landscape” category to the right hand side of the page, since that’s become a regular post type it makes sense to allow anyone who wants to look back through older landscape image post’s the ability to do that. I’ve been meaning to do this for a while and to be honest should have done it a lot sooner, it took me quite some time to go back through the older post’s and re-categorise them.
Anyway there we have it, click away on Landscape and have a browse through some of the image’s you may have missed from the past 🙂 (more…)
