Straight into it this time, images that were taken across May (I’d say in Cardiff but some are Penarth as well), all Olympus OMD EM5, enjoy.
ISO 200, f8, 1/500th sec. Walked past this on the way back from work one day, I liked the angles of the platform with the sky against it.
ISO 400, f4, 1/125th sec. I think we all know by now I am quite the fan of old shopping arcades, they’re just very picturesque, so here’s an image of the entrance to one. I like the pillars, the closing shadow’s, the repetitive tables and chairs stretching into the distance and finally the silhouetted couple walking away from us.
ISO 200,f?, 1/1250th sec. Taken with an OM 50mm using an adapter, I like that this image is probably more about the empty space of the beach and pebbles than the people themselves that break it up.
ISO 200, f?, 1/640th sec. Another image of people on the beach, taken from above on the pier this time. I like this angle, it emphasises the emptiness of the beach and the pattern’s on the sand. I’m pleased with the positioning of the couple in the first left third of the image as well, using the empty space for the rest of the image.
ISO 200, f8, 1/200th sec. Finally a couple of biker’s having a rest and staring out at the sea.
