Street Photography – Olympus OM-D EM-5; 56

Again some more street photography taken with my Olympus OMD EM5 and either 17mm M.Zuiko lens, 25mm Panasonic Leica Summilux or 5omm OM F.Zuiko taken in and around Cardiff.

Dark Crane.jpg 25mm, ISO 400, f4, 1/1000th sec. Lets not discuss the, ahem, shape of the crane shall we? I like the shadowy atmosphere of the dark clouds as the backdrop.

Exhaust.jpg 5omm OM F.zuiko, ISO 400, f?, 1/500th sec. Close up on the exhaust of a very nice bike thatw as parked up in the street, I thought the sticker on the exhaust was pretty cool.

garage.jpg 25mm, ISO 400, f4, 1/1250th sec. This abandoned petrol station is not far from where I live, in fact about a 2 minute walk from my front door, although it looks more like its in the middle of nowhere and hasn’t been inhabited for decades. I actually don’t know how long its been shut down as I don’t ever remember seeing it operating.

Ladder.jpg 25mm, ISO 400, f4, 1/500th sec. These guys were faffing about for bloody ages with this ladder, no clue what they were trying to do but it seemed like the very epitome of too many cooks spoiling the broth, though the guy holding the ladder wasn’t exactly doing an awful lot to help.

Library.jpg 50mm OM F.Zuiko, ISO 400, f?, 1/200th sec. Saw this guy reading a paper through the window of the library, I liked how the different languages painted on the window complimented the non English newspaper being read below them.
