Street Photography – Olympus OM-D EM-5; 61

All images taken on my Olympus OM-D EM-5 and either Panasonic Leica Summilux 25mm, M.Zuiko 17mm or Olympus OM F.Zuiko 50mm lens.

P1010059.jpg 25mm, ISO 800, f4, 1/15th sec. A shockingly slow shutter speed here, which explains the slight blur movement in the woman’s arm. I was walking through the shopping arcade and stumbled across this empty shop/cafe with a small film crew inside, so I tried to frame them with the doorway. As you can see to the right is me reflected in the window.

P1010074.jpg 50mm with OM/Micro 4/3rd’s adapter, ISO 400, f?, 1/1000th sec. I sat for a good 15 minutes snapping away at this to try and get the right silhouettes through the glass and against the background of the sky, I’m not totally happy with this but it was the best of the lot.

P1010079.jpg 50mm with OM/Micro 4/3rd’s adapter, ISO 400, f?, 1/320th sec. Now this guy is well into whatever he’s listening to, just walking away with his eyes closed and probably using the force to guide him through the streets.

P1010091.jpg 25mm, ISO 400, f4, 1/3200th sec. I tried to frame this guy as best I could in the centre of the image, annoyingly he’s just to the right slightly, damn.

P1010094.jpg 25mm, ISO 400, f4, 1/2500th sec. I love finding stickers like this around the city, I have no idea who this band is and no idea what any of the magazines that gave them a review are either, however if something is described as “a cluster f**k of awesomeness” who am I to argue?
