Street Photography – Olympus OM-D EM-5; 82

Some more street photography for your perusal, as always taken with my OM-D EM-5.

P1010005.jpg 25mm, ISO 250, f4, 1/640th sec. I was aiming to have these two guys with the broom and coffee framed by the building they’re standing beneath, the strong light from the right is lighting up their faces and he colour and material of the paving creates a nice line leading to them.

P1010011.jpg 25mm, ISO 250, f4, 1/1000th sec. For someone wearing sunglasses this woman is doing her best to avoid the actual sunlight as she crosses the road.

P1010013.jpg 25mm, ISO 400, f4, 1/400th sec. I don’t really like taking images of the back of people that much anymore as I think the face shows a lot more interest than a bald patch, however on this occasion the guy on the right was blowing out smoke from an e-cigarette and it was being made more obvious by the cold air. So I followed him and waited for another opportunity, and this was it. I didn’t notice at the time but the Christmas lighting at the top of the image frames it nicely.
