Welcome t another edition of my street photography series, as always these were taken with my Olympus OM-D EM5 and either 25mm Panasonic Leica Summilux or 17mm M.Zuiko lenses on the streets of Cardiff. Enjoy and feel free to comment.
25mm, ISO 250, f4, 1/200th sec. I waited in this spot for a good few minutes as people walked past in the middle of the frame and snapped away at quite a few of them, this was probably the best one, central figures, feet spread apart in a paced walk, and the child in front keeping pace also. The parking lines either side of the image nicely lead down to them and the window frames them centrally nicely as well.
25mm, ISO 400, f4, 1/30th sec.
25mm, ISO 250, f4, 1/800th sec. Strong light and dark shadows are exactly what I love to find when I’m out shooting, this being a prime example of that situation.
17mm, ISO 250, f4, 1/250th sec.
25mm, ISO 400, f1.4, 1/50th sec. This store has possibly the most hipster selection of clothing and items you will ever see, as I was walking past I noticed someone inside working away on a sewing machine. I really like to capture images of people doing everyday things, especially their jobs if they’re a little bit different to the standard office 9-5.
