Another day and another bunch of street photography taken by me with my Olympus OM-D EM-5 on the streets of my hometown, Cardiff.
25mm, ISO 400, f4, 1/800th sec. Haven’t we all been there? bored waiting outside a shop we don’t want to go inside of for someone to come out, and inevitably for us to end up carrying everything they’ve bought. I feel for you sir.
25mm, ISO 400, f4, 1/80th sec. I took several photo’s of this scene trying to get the perfect pose in the woman’s feet along with the reflection and silhouette of her hair, guess this one will have to do.
25mm, ISO 400, f4, 1/100th sec. Sometimes when you walk past someone shooting from the hip it comes off rather well, this is one of those times. Positioned where I wanted in the frame, focused as I wanted and engrossed in her phone and oblivious to the world going on around her.
25mm, ISO 400, f4, 1/400th sec. What I like about this one isn’t just the question of what are they carrying and where are they going that is raised, but the fact the guy on the left with the bags has clocked me and his staring right into the lens.
25mm, ISO 400, f4, 1/320th sec. What did I say earlier about waiting outside a store just to end up carrying the bags anyway?
25mm, ISO 400, f4, 1/1000th sec. I was trying to take an image of the kids skateboarding when this interesting guy with his camera and suitcase wandered into the shot, as on one of the previous images here, exactly where I’d have wanted him to be if I’d directed him myself.
