Street Photography – Olympus OM-D EM-5; 93

Welcome to edition 93 of my street photography series from the streets of Cardiff, as usual all images are taken with my Olympus OM-D EM-5. Enjoy, comment, like, hate, whatever you want just let me know your thoughts.

P1010148.jpg 25mm, ISO 800, f4, 1/640th sec. Spotted this couple walking towards me and waited for them to get just close enough to the window for them to be reflected and duplicated. I like the fact they’re holding hands, it tells you something about them.P1010155.jpg 25mm, ISO 200, f4, 1/800th sec. Leading lines ahoy, all leading to the entrance of the station. The rail worker walking past happened to walk perfectly through the light as it lit up the side of his face.P1010167.jpg 25mm, ISO 200, f4, 1/800th sec. Big shadows and low light as the sun sinks behind the buildigns in the background.P1010171.jpg 25mm, ISO 200, f4, 1/125th sec.P1010179.jpg 25mm, ISO 200, f4, 1/4000th sec. Big shadows again, strong light causing a very fast shutter speed but giving these big, bold and elongated silhouettes of the people walking away into the distance.P1010182.jpg 25mm, ISO 200, f4, 1/4000th sec. Similar to the image above, this time with a cyclist as they speed fast, the foot hovering above the ground almost gives an impression of someone floating through the scene.
