My First Attempt To Sell My Images

If you’ll forgive the blatant and flagrant self promotional nature of this post but I’ve finally decided to probe the interest in my photography and also try and achieve one of the New Year Resolutions I set for myself way back in January and actually try and sell some of my images.  (more…)

So I Joined Instagram

This is going to be a slightly wordy entry rather than the usual “here is a photo I took, look at it” kind of thing but it’s something I wanted to talk about and put out there, I have (finally) set up an Instagram account and have been sharing older images on there. Find it here if that interests you, give it a follow if it interest you that much.  (more…)

Hungarian Adventure – Prelude

By the time you’re reading this I should be several tens of thousands of feet in the air on my way to the Hungarian capital of Budapest for a few days of sightseeing, eating, drinking, cultural soaking in and general fun. As you are probably aware by now, I can’t leave the house without taking at least some method of making images with me and going on a holiday is no different. (more…)

Street Photography Workshop

At the start of the month I attended a street photography workshop that was being run by Jessops and Panasonic, I’m going to count it as being able to cross off my resolutions list as attending a photo meet up as essentially that’s what it was, a load of camera geeks in a room talking shop and playing with toys before heading out and using them in the real world. The workshop was taken by Damien Demolder, who was excellent, the right level of fun and informative you need from such a situation. (more…)

A Parade Of Strangers – Eduardo Pavez Goye

Lets delve again into my collection of books (my girlfriend says I have too many, but can you really have too many books?), specifically photography books. This time we have a limited run book by photographer and You Tube Vlogger Eduardo Pavez Goye, I say limited run as he sold it through Etsy on a print run of only 50 copies, of which I managed to get hold of a copy after pouncing on it as soon as could, it sold out very quickly.

Question To Followers

It’s rare I address you guys, the great public of Internetland, directly but this is something that I want to garner a response for before taking the plunge. You may have seen from my New Years Resolutions post that one of the things I’m planning on trying this year is to sell a print (maybe prints but a single print would do) of some of my work and would be really interested to know if there would be any interest in this at all? (more…)

Two Years Of Photographs I Have Taken

Just a small piece to say that today happens to be the second anniversary of this blog, whoop! Thank you to everyone who follows, browses or has recently stumbled across this place, I doubt I would’ve kept my interest up over the past two years without you coming back and looking at my work. There’s plenty more to come in the future so here’s to another year of photography. (more…)

Street Photography Set Up – 2017

It’s been quite some time since I’ve done something like this, in fact as this post here suggests it’s been over a year,  and as things have changed and I’ve made adjustments to what equipment I use I thought I’d update you all with what’s in my bag when I go shooting the streets.

New Year Photography Resolutions

OK so at the end of last year I wrote a post about making some resolutions for the New Year specifically with regards to my photography, I think it was pretty successful and made me strive to become better (whether or not I actually did become better is open for debate of course). Now in my end of year review post, which came out yesterday if you want to have a nose at it, I discussed last years resolutions and their varying successes and failings so I will not be talking about them here. What we’re going to talk about here are resolutions for the coming  year, there is no order of preference or importance so make of each one what you will. Lets get down to it. (more…)
