Mio Padre

I stumbled across a few scanned images taken with my Leica IIIc many, many months ago that I’d completely forgotten about, probably because most of them are badly focused or exposed, due to me being abysmal at using a rangefinder. However there was a few among the garbage that were interesting, this one for example that I completely forgot I took of my Dad, eyeing up military antiques in a shop window (it was either that or Rugby memorabilia, he’d be a stickler for either if it’s in the shop window on display).

So Christmas is done with for another year, we’re all much larger and as usual I’ve documented it on camera. There’s going to be a few of these kind of posts over the next few days while I work through the backlog of Christmas images I have but for now this post is images of family on the actual day (sort of as some are a few days later too). All are taken on my Nikon D5200 and with either Nikkor 35mm DX 1:1.8 of Nikkor 50mm 1:1.4G lenses. Enjoy.
